Football brings people together. And what goes hand in hand with an exciting World Cup match? That’s right: fries, a refreshing drink and good company. That’s why we surprised our Potatoholics at our sites in Belgium and the Netherlands with a special World Cup supporters package.
The package contained everything needed for a great football evening: a bag of our own fries (a hit at every party), a can of beer and a tasty sauce to go with the fries. A small gesture to enjoy the World Cup together and bring a bit of Agristo pride to the table at home.
The reactions? They were at least as varied as the match predictions. Some colleagues joked that they could easily leave the fries untouched, since they already see, smell and taste fries all day at work. Others were excited to prepare the fries themselves or take them home to share with friends and family. One thing was clear: the surprise was greatly appreciated.
Of course, an initiative like this also takes teamwork behind the scenes. Our communication team hit the road to pick up the sauces and move boxes from site to site. Our colleagues from Expedition also rolled up their sleeves, helping to keep the fries perfectly frozen until they reached everyone.
The result? Plenty of smiles, great conversations and an extra serving of World Cup spirit in the workplace.
