As a participant in our Young Potatoholics traineeship, you will be guided through different departments and projects throughout the company for two years. You will have the opportunity to further develop your skills and have an impact on the growth of our organization. After the traineeship, you will be fully up to scratch on the ins and outs of Agristo, making it the perfect first step to a challenging job.

A traineeship for every Potatoholic

The traineeship consists of five periods, each with a different department. A period can last from five weeks to six months. You will also be involved in various interdepartmental projects, which gives you the opportunity to sample a variety of roles and departments.

The six characteristics of a true Potatoholic

Do you love anything fried golden brown and crispy? That’s a good start, but you need quite a bit more to be a true Young Potatoholic. Check off the following six characteristics and apply ASAP!

  • Master's degree

    Congratulations on your degree! We prefer our Potatoholics to have a master's degree in an economic, scientific or technical field.

  • Young talent

    You don't need any experience to become a Young Potatoholic. If you are already working but have less than two years of experience, you are also more than welcome!

  • Key competencies

    A Young Potatoholic needs to have strong management skills. You know how to motivate and inspire others and have an innovative, problem-solving mindset. You keep your eyes peeled for interesting opportunities and new market developments.

  • Common sense

    Agristo is growing rapidly, but we keep both feet on the ground. A Potatoholic is people-centric and customer-oriented, thinks and acts sustainably with a focus on the long term, and always uses common sense.

  • Not opposed to shift work

    You will work in a variety of departments during your traineeship. As such, a willingness to work occasional shifts is essential.
