Escaudoeuvres

Agristo is expanding. Starting in 2027, we will produce pure French fries in Escaudoeuvres, France, in the border region of Hauts-de-France. Once operational, it will be our second largest production facility after Wielsbeke. In order to keep the start-up on the right track, we are already looking for people to take on some exciting projects. Will you help build our French growth story?

Agrist'Hauts de France

The Agrist'Hauts de France project is the next step in our ambition to remain innovative and get closer to our customers. In Escaudœuvres (59), on the site of the former Tereos sugar factory, we plan to build a new factory where we will produce up to 300,000 tons of frozen potato products annually. Innovation is at the heart of this project, with the latest technologies integrated into our production process.

With this establishment in the Hauts-de-France region, we aim not only to be closer to our French customers but also to collaborate with local farmers and support the rich French agricultural production.

We are proud that this project not only drives economic growth but also creates opportunities: we expect to generate 140 new jobs at the start-up of the factory. At full production capacity, this will increase to 300 to 350 direct jobs, representing a significant growth and a positive boost for this beautiful region.

Furthermore, we remain committed to our sustainability goals. By settling on an existing industrial site, we ensure a smart repurposing and contribute to "zero net land sealing." A win-win for everyone!

Our commitment

A smart repurposing

A smart repurposing of a 27-hectare production site (the former Tereos sugar refinery) within an already established industrial zone. For this project, we are investing no less than 280 million euros.

Our production capacity

We will start with an initial production capacity of 150,000 tons of finished products per year and gradually expand to 300,000 tons per year.

French potatoes & long-term partnership

We are collaborating with French farmers based around our site, building a strong and long-term partnership to produce the very best potato products together.

Bonjour Potatoholics!

From 140 new jobs at the opening of the factory to a growth of 300 to 350 jobs once we reach 300,000 tons per year. This includes various profiles: operators, maintenance technicians, quality controllers, team leaders, process engineers, administrative staff, logistics roles, and controllers.

I look forward to our site in Escaudœuvres, which combines innovation, employment, and local partnerships.
