“Most of our colleagues have degrees in applied economics, bioengineering, commercial engineering, etc. These programmes all provide broad general knowledge. This is essential, as we are in contact with all departments within the company. Our team needs to be up to speed on the latest technologies, which requires us to have an interest in our fields, e.g., reading blogs and attending seminars. We always need to be aware of what is coming.”
