Meet Alexis
This is Alexis, team leader at Agristo. He is a French national and lives in northern France, but he is happy to cross the border to the factory in Wielsbeke, where he has worked for over two years. His main motivation? His family, his excellent team and the pleasant and respectful work environment Agristo provides.
Why work at Agristo?
Alexis says Agristo is a bit like the Care Bears world. Everyone is good-natured and like-minded. There is no difference in how you are treated—no superiority—and that is wonderful. It is a difference of night and day compared to his previous job, where he worked for thirteen years. At Agristo, everything is automated and easier, and employees work in a fair and respectful environment.
In addition to the great work environment, Alexis loves his job. He particularly likes the versatility of his role, which involves always being on the lookout to make sure the machines are running smoothly and managing his team. Every day brings new challenges, and the rotation system keeps the job very varied, which he finds stimulating.
Become a better version of yourself
Alexis finds that Agristo offers incredible advancement opportunities. It doesn't matter whether you have a degree; the important thing is that you show that you want to gain experience and grow. He completed various operator training courses before becoming a team leader and is still taking training to develop his management skills further. With the experience he has gained from working with the machines and leading his team, he hopes to eventually become a technical training instructor.

Our French team leader likes the fact that his employer prioritizes respect and pays close attention to its employees’ quality of life. The workplace atmosphere is amazing.
