Meet Dennis
Dennis Vera. Technician. 40 years old. Dennis has worked at Agristo for 10 years. He has been a loyal Potatoholic for a quarter of his life, and he’s here to stay. He has completed a lot of training and was able to apply all his acquired knowledge at Agristo. It’s a no-brainer.
What does Dennis love about his job?
The variety, 100%! For Dennis, no two days look alike. Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and more; his job has it all, so he needed to be a polymath. That was the main reason he applied at Agristo. Ten years later, his job is still just as interesting every day.
Dennis is the go-to guy for all your technical problems. Constantly coming up with solutions is what he loves most. He also gets a lot in return; skillfully solving the problem so that his colleagues can get on with their work is where Dennis gets the most satisfaction. “That gratitude drives me and keeps me committed.”
Dennis’ natural habitat
Dennis is like a potato in the ground among Agristo's machinery. The machine park is his natural habitat, and he knows every inch of the plant, from the grizzled veterans to the brand-new machines.
Growth at Agristo
Agristo is also a great place to work if you want to become a jack of all trades. There are in-house training programs, and you can even come up with your own proposal. If there is no suitable in-house training program available, appropriate external training will be provided.
Growth is possible in all directions; Dennis prefers to grow horizontally, not vertically. He likes to get his hands dirty. His mission as a technician is to find the best and most efficient way to solve a breakdown and keep the machinery in working order. He’s not made for sitting still and wouldn’t last long at a desk. At Agristo, he can deepen his knowledge and continue to grow in his profession.
