We’re looking for a motivated Grower Relations & Agronomy Specialist to join our Agro team in the North Dakota region. In this role, you’ll be the key link between our company and local potato growers, ensuring a reliable, high-quality supply of potatoes while supporting farmers with expert cultivation advice.

What will you be doing at Agristo?
Grower Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potato growers in North Dakota, Minnesota, and neighboring states.
- Confirm production planning in seasonal contracts, including pricing, volumes, varieties, and delivery schedules.
Communication & Reporting
- Act as the central point of contact for growers.
- Share market insights and grower feedback with internal teams.
- Create analytical reports and performance dashboards.
Planning & Coordination
- Develop delivery schedules aligned with production planning.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and sales.
- Coordinate logistics with transporters and resolve any issues.
Agronomy
Crop Monitoring & Quality Assurance
- Provide hands-on cultivation guidance and support to growers.
- Monitor crop development and storage conditions.
- Assess and report on crop quality to the Agro Director.
Variety research
- Planting new potato varieties in trial fields and processing plots.
- Collect and analyse data on new varieties.
Safety & Sustainability
- Follow and promote safety, environmental, and hygiene standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement in safety and environmental practices.
This is where you recognize yourself:
Education & Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences, Crop Production, or a related field.
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply!
- Strong interest in potato or vegetable crop consultancy, procurement, or contract management.
Skills & Competencies
- Solid understanding of potato cultivation (planting to storage).
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Organized, pragmatic, and solution-oriented.
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
- Excellent communication skills.
Other Requirements
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Based in Grand Forks, ND or willing to relocate to the Grand Forks, ND area.
